First Night Out :)

Today is another day of Orientation and I get to go to where I will be working, which I am very much looking forward to! But, last night a big group of us decided to get out of Clifton Gardens and go into Central London for a night out. We ended up in Piccadilly Circus (which is where I stayed with Jenn last time I was here in the UK) and it was a great decision. We went to a very "American" style bar where they served $3.00 pints of beer. It was called the Sports Cafe and they also have a dance floor and play very American music, which was great! We took the tube down to Piccadilly Circus and then the bus home. It was such a fun time to just be able to jump on and off the tube... Hitting me more and more that I am LIVING here!

As I told Crystal yesterday, I got a few blisters from wearing heels all of yesterday, so I grabbed my keys and wallet and umbrella to head down to Boots [a drug store]... I felt for the first time that I was living here, just running out for bandaids and toothpaste. I am going to have to work on my loud voice here, it is very "American" to speak so loud supposedly. Hopefully the rain doesn't pour on us like yesterday while we walk around the city today!
