Friday ended up with a night out on the town, a bar/club named Wax Bar. We got completely conned into going.. but there was a group of 20 of us, so it turned into a fun time. The DJ played it up for us Americans playing all the classics for us to sing along too :)
Yesterday was another beautiful day in London. I started off the day for going to a late breakfast with 2 of the guys from my program, John and Scott. They wanted Kabobs for breakfast. Interesting. But, I tagged alond anyways and started my day with hummus and a latte. Classic. Then we rallied up the troops and did another day of sight-seeing. This time it was all of the famous bridges, the Globe theatre, etc. After walking around [my poor feet...] we started talking about our first trip! People threw out Scotland, Ireland, Spain, Germany... but, we ended up buying tickets to none other than: Porto, Portugal! I was excited about this because I have never been and the city photos look beautiful! We still need to book hostels, but the airplane ticket has been bought. So, I will be in Portugal from October 2nd after work to October 5th!
Last night was an interesting night, ended up at a bar named Zoo Bar. Most of the club was techno music and one room was hip hop. We did it all, but my feet absolutely hate me and my most comfortable boots were the worst decision. Today is a day of tennis shoes and socks and comfy clothes as I am moving into my permanent housing! Yay! A bus is coming in a hour to pick us up and take us to our new homes. I just can't wait to be NOT living out of a suitcase.
Hope everyone is doing well! Miss you all!!!
