Update :)

Life in London has been a bit... hectic.

Time for a few updates:

1) I won't be going to Prague this weekend. I am majorly bummed out and sad about this as this is a TOP location I want to go to while I am here for my year abroad. Something came up with my travelling partner Meg and it was just better to not go. Sad. But, at least this means I have another weekend in London which I really enjoy and get to celebrate Halloween with all my new friends, even though I still have no idea what I should be... hm...

2) UBS has started to cut those jobs this week. I won't be effected [thankfully!!!] but the people I have met/become close with... they might be. I am especially nervous for my old team, they are quite big and after the merge [set for Nov. 7th]... :( I can't help but become a tad bit emotionally attached. My job was effected yesterday though. During the day I allocate the trades for 3 italian traders... that is all I do until after the merge because it is no point in learner applications that will be no longer in a couple weeks. Well, one trader is no more and that means the work load doubled for the other traders... meaning a very busy/long day at work. Man oh man...

3) It snowed last night. Yes, it SNOWED in central London last night on my walk home from the tube station around 9:00-9:30pm last night. Meg, Jaclyn and myself just sat at the pub directly from my front door [called The Victory, literally 10 steps from my apartment building's front door - so warm, big leather couches.. first time in it :) ] and looked out the window at the other crazy Americans we live with running around in the snow. Most of you know how I feel about snow, so it wasn't too exciting for me - ha.. I hear London is horrible when it snows aka the public transportation is horrible.. I hope this isn't a sign for things to come!!!

Well, that is it for now! I hope everyone has a very safe, but fun Halloween and I miss you all WAY TOO MUCH right about now... xoxoxoxo
