Home for Thanksgiving!

After 14 hours of airports and airplanes, between London and Paris and Seattle, I made it safely to Seattle to surprise my dad for Thanksgiving weekend :) It was the quickest, most exhausting trip yet... but the best by far! My extended 'family' always does Thanksgiving weekend in Oregon somewhere and this year was back at Seaside. I arrived back in Seattle on Wednesday and surprised Daddio at his doctor's appointment and, it seemed, just like that we were in Oregon with my amazing family.

The weekend was perfect, minus me getting sick and being so exhausted. I felt like I could never catch up on my sleep as I didn't want to sleep too much and miss out on being with my family. It was great to see everyone and I really loved/needed it. It was strange to be in the states with no phone or computer... being completely cut off, but it was good in a way too. I ate all my favorite foods - banana bread, homemade chex mix, gumbo, Thanksgiving goodies and CRAB!! mmm :) I also got to celebrate my birthday a little bit with getting some awesome presents from my parents and siblings - love them lots!! I can't believe I am almost 23 years old...

And, before I knew it, I was on the plane heading back to London. I just want to thank everyone who such a GREAT weekend. I love you all so much! I really have such an amazing family and extended family - I am a lucky girl. Now, it is back to my 'real world' for 3 weeks until I return for a longer stay for Christmas break [the 20th-28th]. I can't wait to catch up with friends and hopefully will be able to get my phone working! I can not believe it is December and the new year is almost upon us.. Hope everyone is doing well!! xoxoxo
